Description:
Refurbishment works carried out in areas of the building from the Basement to 6th floor and roof. This included teaching spaces, staff offices, tea points, break out areas, corridors, lift lobbies and toilet blocks. These areas were upgraded with new distribution boards, LED lighting, intelligent lighting controls, mechanical power and general power to suit the new layouts.
A new bespoke LV switch panel was installed in the basement with one of the main incoming power supplies to the building increased. New switchgear was installed and alterations were made to the existing equipment to enable the new LV distribution layout.
The project was completed in phases enabling teaching and staff activity to continue in the building whilst the works were carried out.
